Our platform takes a user from looking to booking the right stylist for her in just a few clicks, while helping stylists grow their client base by 20% or more. Unlike other marketplaces that fail to capture the complexities of the textured hair care consumer, our personalized, texture-specific approach is creating a first-of-its-kind empowering community for women of color, who spend 9x more on beauty than any other ethnic group.

Jihan Thompson is the co-founder and CEO of Swivel Beauty. Prior to launching Swivel Beauty, Jihan spent a decade as a magazine editor at top women’s magazines, including Oprah Magazine, Marie Claire, and Glamour. Now, she's committed to making sure black women have the beauty experience they deserve.

Jennifer Lambert

Co-Founder

Jennifer Lambert is a Harvard-trained lawyer who, prior to launching Swivel Beauty, practiced general corporate, M&A, and cybersecurity law at some of the country's top firms. In her free time, Jennifer likes to cook, travel, do crossword puzzles, and spend time with family and friends. She's originally from Washington, DC and currently resides in New York City.
