A designer by background, Nagasai Adama worked with Hyundai Motors as Senior Designer for 5 years as the head of Color and Trim design in India. She worked with many production models, show cars and proposed cost reduction ideas to launch cars at a very competitive price. Nagasai also developed a range of trims using indigenous raw materials as a substitute with existing defined commercial trims for increasing the usage of sustainable products and showcased them in trend shows. In addition, Nagasai is a Design Consultant with Mithan Handicrafts, a non-profit organization that creates employment opportunities for women with limited resources in remote areas of India. At the organization, Nagasai assists with the adoption of new designs in synchronization with the prevailing culture and traditions in India, helping women lead a decent living. She developed a range of hand-made sustainable products with Mithan Handicrafts, which are now sold across the world. Nagasai is currently pursuing her Masters in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons School of Design, NY.
