Mark Friedman

Mark brings 25 years of strategic and tactical experience to the direct marketing business, with the last 15 focused on the on-line channel within multi-channel retailing organizations.

Mark has worked for the last 5 years at Steve Madden where he is the President of E-commerce.  Prior to that, he worked as the Chief Digital Marketing Officer at Warnaco, a $2 billion wholesaler and retailer.  He was responsible for the Speedo, Calvin Klein Underwear, and Calvin Klein Jeans’s sites.

Prior to that, Friedman spent 3 years as the Chief Marketing Officer at Redcats USA, a $1.5 billion catalog and internet company with 10 different brands operating online.  He had direct responsibility for all web marketing, database marketing, private label credit and all 3rd party business relationships within the marketing area. During this 3 year period, the Redcats web channel grew from $150 million to $450 million.

Prior to Redcats, Friedman was the Chief Marketing Officer of Brooks Brothers.  In this role, he was the head of the catalog and internet businesses and was also responsible for the marketing efforts within 150 retail stores in the US.

Mark is a graduate of Lafayette College and he has an MBA from Rutgers.
