Bridget Lavery-Palmieri is currently a member of the faculty at Parson’s School of Design in NYC in the Fashion Marketing Department. She is also the founder and principal of fashion retail marketing consultancy, BLP Consulting.
As an accomplished, retail executive with strong team management, merchandising, analytical and negotiating skills, Bridget has spent much of her career managing cross-functional teams to achieve results by inspiring and motivating others to excel.
For over 17 years she held various positions at Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s in merchandise strategies, store management, product development, retail buying and planning, marketing analytics and customer insights. She is a strategic and analytical thinker with strong creative instincts and a keen awareness of consumer trends. Bridget has a proven track record to deliver sales growth and profit performance.
Over the years, Bridget has been involved with various charities, including Dress for Success, FARE and currently sits on the Advisory Board for Child Help Partnership. As the successful producer of many fundraising and awareness events, she has helped raise significant visibility and donations for these causes.
