Alonso Castro was born in Lima, Peru and migrated to the U.S for college. Alonso then worked for three and a half years before pursuing a MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons. Currently, Alonso works as a Design and Technology bootcamp professor, teaching assistant and a laser machine technician at Parsons. In addition, Alonso works as a design studio assistant for an award winning artist. As a graduate student, Alonso's goal is to explore topics such as social justice, anthropology and sociology, gastronomy, agriculture and education.
